Product detailed description
Floor lamp designed by Jindřich Halabala. Halabala worked at the Brno headquarters of the Uměleckoprůmyslové Závody company, where he was main architect and head of the studio from 1930. Halabala was originally a carpenter and later graduated from the School of Applied Arts under the tutelage of Professor Pavel Janák.
The lamp is very reminiscent of Jindřich Halabala's H-144 lamp. It has a chrome base and a tubular construction at the end of which the shade is mounted. The tubular construction of the lamp is adjustable up to 180 cm and in some places the chrome is dipped. The entire lamp has been thoroughly cleaned and a new parchment shade has been fitted.
