Woven rug
Code: 2103012AProduct detailed description
A woven rug from the 1960s, which bears a strong resemblance to the work of Antonín Kybal, a textile artist and the founder of the Kybal Textile School at the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague. Kybal had a strong influence on his students, and their work is often indistinguishable from his, so this rug may have been made by one of his pupils. The rug features a simple geometric pattern, typical of Kybal's work in the 1950s. The rug was made using the flat weaving technique, and it is in very good condition.
