Cabinet U-452 ATYP
Code: 2108020AProduct detailed description
The cabinet comes from the rare Universal test series (U-450), designed in 1958 by Czech designer Jiří Jiroutek for the Czechoslovak national company Interiér Praha. The success of the Czech pavilion at the Brussels Expo '58 was followed by the rise of the modernist style (in Czechoslovakia known as the "Brussels style").
The test series from which this cabinet came was in production for only two years, unlike the standard U-450 series, which was in production for approximately 20 years. It is therefore a rare piece.
This cabinet, marked U-452, is divided into two parts by a longitudinal shelf, has a veneered (oak) surface and a sliding door made of plywood.
