We are a shop specializing in original applied art and design from the second half of the 20th century.
We opened Nanovo in 2011 with a simple idea: to offer original, high-quality furniture and home accessories that are overlooked in the Czech Republic and unknown abroad. We focus on design from former Czechoslovakia, but we also offer original items from abroad.
We restore the sense and beauty of objects
Nanovo offers only original items from the second half of the 20th century, which have undergone partial or complete renovation. We restore the sense and beauty of these objects. We strive to bring the items in our shop back to their most original state, naturally considering their age and history. Our goal is for our customers to be able to use their purchased item immediately.
A standard of service not yet common in the Czech Republic
One of the driving forces behind opening Nanovo was also to offer our customers services and an approach whose level is still not the standard in the Czech Republic. We offer 100% service to our customers, including consultations on adjustments and transportation. A one-year warranty on items purchased in our shop is a matter of course.
We are one of the leading players in furniture and interior design
Nanovo was established in Berlin in 2009, and two years later, we opened our store. Since then, we have become one of the leading players in the field of furniture and interior design from the second half of the 20th century.
In 2016, we received the prestigious Czech Grand Design award for Shop of the Year, and we expanded this success in 2019 when we received the EDIDA award from ELLE Decoration magazine for the re-edition of furniture by Jiří Jiroutek.
