The Safari chair is inspired by a design by Karin Mobring for Ikea. The manufacturer of this chair is probably Hikor Písek.
The frame of the chair is made of solid beech wood stained in a dark brown colour. The seat and back are upholstered in brown leather. The chair is in its original condition with light scratches on the wood and patina on the leather seat.
Karin Mobring was the first woman to design furniture for Ikea.
