A replica of a chair originally designed by Otakar Binar for the Avion hotel bar in Ještěd. Academic architect Otakar Binar was born in 1931. Co-founder of the famous SIAL group of architects, he worked with the Ještěd Hotel and Transmitter between the 1960s and the 1960s on the interior furnishings and furniture. He designed lighting fixtures, bar stools, armchairs, ashtrays and other furnishings for the hotel. A few years ago, the hotel underwent an extensive renovation with the restoration of the original furnishings.
The replica of the chair was made according to the original design by Otakar Binar for the exhibition. The chair has the original shell construction, which is newly upholstered in beige fabric and all chrome parts are newly made.
