Iconic floor lamp "Japonka" ("A Japanese") designed by Helena Frantová in 1958 for Závody umělecké kovovýroby Praha (Zukov). Zukov was founded in 1948 as a result of the nationalisation of the Vulkania Prostějov arts and crafts factory.
The lamp consists of two thin metal rods and two heads covered with cream-coloured shades with a marble pattern, fixed at the back with two studs.
The lamp is in original condition, the gilding is darkened, especially on the base. The lacquer is chipped and cracked in places. The shades have more patina and small stains in places. The switches and cables need repair. Cleaned.
