The "Tefla" tea set was designed by German glassmaker Wilhelm Wagenfeld and produced by Saale Glas in the 1950s. The set is made of thin, transparent Jena glass, which is resistant to high temperatures. The teapot has a removable strainer with a glass lid and a capacity of 1.5 litres. The cups and saucers are made of thin glass and are lightweight. A service based on this design is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
